Scouts

There are more than 30 million Scouts, youth and adults, boys and girls, in 161 countries. Some 300 million people have been Scouts, including prominent people in every field. This is impressive considering that Scouting began with 20 boys and an experimental camp in 1907. It was held during the first nine days of August in 1907 at Brownsea Island, near Poole in Dorset, England.

Since that fateful day when Peter and Beryl got lost in Meghauli, Scouting has been linked with the Friendship Clinic. So a scout troop was always a possibility. Now there are two. The 1st Meghauli (Friendship Clinic) and the 1st Badaghari (Friendship Clinic). Hopefully there will be many more and even a dedicated district Campsite.
